2026 Velzy Surf Classic & Luau

The Doheny Longboard Surfing Association would love to invite you to our 37th annual Velzy Surf Contest and Luau. This year will be held at The Boneyard, Doheny State Beach, Dana Point, CA.
This event is open to all interested in competing. Saturday’s event is open to all ages, from 10 and under all the way up to the Extreme Legends of 70+.
Entry Fees are $85 for each division and include one entrance to the luau after the contest. Luau-only tickets can be purchased separately. You do NOT want to miss this event!
At the Luau there is food, drinks, games, live music, Polynesian dancers, and raffle prizes you will not believe. Someone will go home with a legit brand new longboard.
We are running our registration through Live Heats. Create an account to sign up!
Heats will be released the Thursday or Friday before the event.
Club Members can use code SAVE10 to save on their Luau and contest entry fees.
